Dr. Hartley is a graduate of the Medical University of South Carolina where she earned her Doctor of Dental Medicine. She completed a residency in general dentistry at the University of Alabama School of Dentistry in Birmingham, Alabama, where she worked in a hospital setting as well as private practice.
In addition to an extensive education and work history, Dr.Hartley has provided treatment and examinations for military personnel to maintain soldiers’ deployable status, volunteered dental treatment to the underserved, participated in extensive workshops and seminars at the Spears Institute in Arizona, as well as the Triangle Dental Institute in Durham, NC and she was awarded “Outstanding Academic Achievement in Dentistry” by the prestigious Pierre Fauchard Academy while in dental school and was distinguished as a Fellow in the International Congress of Oral Implantology in 2019.

In her free time, Dr Hartley loves to travel, knit, and read. She is married to Jimmy, who is an Episcopal priest. They have three children, William, Robert, and Sinclair, and a dog named Patrick.
