This is a once in a lifetime career opportunity to join a really unique and great team! We are looking for a motivated dentist who loves dentistry as much as we do to join our growing group practice. One-on-one mentoring with other doctors is one of the strong points of this practice.

Location:  Columbia, SC

Full Time: Full Time: up to 5 days/week M-Th 7-4 and/or F 8-2 (Days TBD). Current full-time doctors work 4 days/week. Part Time position would be considered for the right person.

Position would start in Summer of 2023

Description:  This position is for a long-term associate and is not an equity/ownership opportunity. One of our senior associates is retiring which creates an immediate need for a replacement. We average between 50-70 new patients a month. 85% of all the new patients would be allocated to the new associate.  The majority of our patients are adults, however we do treat a small number of children as well. Our dentists are heavily focused on high quality comprehensive care and treatment planning. We strive to provide all levels of restorative dentistry to our patients and try to only refer out cases that are beyond our skill level. In addition to traditional “bread and butter” dentistry, our doctors place and restore implants, perform molar endo, and provide basic clear aligner therapy. We do not currently offer IV sedation in our practice but have an interest in doing so in the future and would welcome an associate who is already trained and licensed to do so. We refer out all sedation cases, all traditional orthodontics, all endodontic re-treats and apicoectomies, all third molars, all periodontal surgery (including crown lengthening and grafting) and about 2/3 of all pediatric dentistry.

Qualifications: In addition to an active SC dental license, the ideal candidate will have completed an AEGD/GPR or have a minimum of 3 years of clinical experience. Current AEGD/GPR residents are encouraged to apply.
